Traditional compensation surveys will generally give you a median value and in best cases also the quartiles. But then you have to dig deep to understand what is the peer group behind. There will be restrictions on how you select that peer group. It is simply difficult to understand what you are looking at. As our data is based on public information we have no restrictions, You can select the peer group yourself in any way you want for as many times as you want. And we can do more then just provide a median, we display each position in the peer group individually for full transparency.

Performance indicators

When you buy executive compensation data you get exactly that of course, but nothing more. You generally do not get any performance indicators of the individuals or companies in the peer group. Performance indicators are important pieces of information when benchmarking incentives and salary increases. Especially given the implementation of the Shareholders Rights Directive across the EU. We could discuss at length what are accurate performance indicators for an executive team, however our data is always including a selection of common financial metrics. In the same graphs you get comp data and financial performance.

Fair pricing

For some time executive compensation data has been provided by a few players with the ability to price their data quite freely. In some cases the price of the data is not comparable to the cost of putting the surveys together. We have some advanced tools to compile the right public information quickly. Thereby we produce this service to a fraction of the cost of what many others can. And the price we charge is a fraction of what others charge.
