Automated public compensation data extraction
Over the years we have become pretty good at this, gradually developing our tools into something comparable to a race car. We operate on executive compensation related publications, such as remuneration reports/policies/AGM materials. And for European job ads containing pay data.

APPROACH TO WEB SCRAPING
Staying within what is legally justified
We base our approach to scraping on Swedish & European copyright legislation, the DSM directive, the Text-And-Data-Mining exception etc. We never scrape anything behing a pay wall. We always go to the source of the job ad and not to sites with self-reported pay data or large portals for job seekers. We always abide opt-outs specified in a company’s robots.txt file. All we save is the pay range, the location & our classification of the job. The job description is only read by machines and temporarily stored for ~5 seconds. Our purpose is never to offer a site where people apply for jobs or in any way draw visitors away from companies’ career sites. See our Privacy Policy at the bottom of this site. We are always ready to listen to companies who have concerns about us scraping their site.
